Recognizing Leadership Givers...like you

United Way of Greater St. Louis 2008 Leadership Giving Incentive Program

Thank you for helping to make our United Way the best investment in the Greater St. Louis region. We need donors like you to help United Way fuel health and human service agencies that assist one out of every three people in our region.

Leadership Givers significantly deepen the cumulative impact for the community through their generous annual investments in United Way of $1,000 or more. Did you know that more than 32 percent of the funds raised last year came from Leadership Givers? Please give today, help today.

A leader in the region when it comes to supporting worthy causes, MasterCard Worldwide has again teamed with United Way of Greater St. Louis to recognize other community leaders with the second year of the Leadership Giving Incentive Program. MasterCard Worldwide is underwriting incentives to recognize donors who step up to become a Leadership Giver, continue their current level of generosity or increase their gift by 10 percent or more. In early 2009, we will announce awards to honor 16 leaders in each of the following categories.

Leading from the Heart: New Leadership Givers
Donors who did not contribute at the leadership level in 2007 and step up to make a Leadership Gift in 2008 will be entered into a drawing to win a $1,000 pre-paid MasterCard card.

Continued Generosity: Continuing Leadership Givers
2007 Leadership Givers who make a 2008 Leadership Gift will be entered into a drawing to win a $1,000 pre-paid MasterCard card.

Fueling the Future: Increased Givers
2007 Leadership Givers who increase their 2008 investment by 10 percent or more will be entered into a drawing to win a $1,000 pre-paid MasterCard card.

Thanks to the generosity of its donors, United Way is able to put back more than $1 million each week into the community to help at least 1 million people this year through the nearly 200 local agencies and programs it funds.

To participate, make your Leadership Gift pledge of $1,000 or more. Turn in your pledge card with your name, address, city, state, ZIP code, telephone number and e-mail address to your United Way employee campaign coordinator, or mail to United Way of Greater St. Louis, Inc., 910 North 11th Street, St. Louis, MO 63101, Attn: Leadership Giving. Your name will be automatically entered into each category for which your gift qualifies. Incentive winners will be contacted and then recognized at a special reception in early 2008. Your name must be submitted to United Way by January 14, 2009 at 5 p.m. to be considered for these incentives. You need not be present to win. Limit of one prize per person. No substitutions. Must be at least 18 years old and resident of Missouri or Illinois to participate. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. United Way of Greater St. Louis is a 501(c)(3) entity. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
