Our mission: The United Way of Greater St. Louis unites people of diverse backgrounds and interests who work together to strengthen health and human services in Missouri and Illinois.


United Way is helping in Monroe County

Your generous contribution to the United Way makes Monroe County a better place to live and work. From basic social needs to specialized care, 62 United Way member agencies served more than 27,780 people in Monroe County in 2006. Chances are you or someone you know has benefited from the support of a United Way agency.

From Girl Scouts to the American Red Cross, the United Way of Greater St. Louis funds nearly 200 agencies that have proven their ability to make a lasting, important impact on our county.

The United Way funds nearly 200 health and human service agencies located throughout a 16-county area in Missouri and Illinois. More than one million people in our bi-state community receive services that strengthen families, help the elderly, keep children healthy and safe, and build stronger neighborhoods.
